Georgia over Florida 75-0 in 1942 (A very misleading score due to WWII service)
Alabama over Vanderbilt 71-0 in 1945

the war ended like a month before that bama/vandy game. Is that one not misleading?

% of Total SEC Losses that Resulted in a Shutout

1. Auburn: 21.3%

We don't suck that much, but when we do... holy hell.

Perhaps. But it’s Vanderbilt. So nobody is truly being misled.

Would be interesting to see the average margin of loss for said shutout teams...as in - average loss of UAs 28 shutouts vs average loss of UTs 28 shutouts.

Vanderbilt ruins all of my "worst of" threads

Oddly enough Vanderbilt gave three teams now members of the SEC their worst loss ever:

1906: Vanderbilt 78 Alabama 0
1915: Vanderbilt 91 Ole Miss 0
1918: Vanderbilt 76 Tennessee 0

Simply stunning.

I think Vanderbilt is becoming my most hated team.

Serious question man:

Why do you do these threads on this board? I dont know how much research and time you spend on these but there's a reason you don't get many serious responses here. Its because all this board is is a 24/7 troll-fest. Nothing more.

You wont get any serious responses if thats what you're actually looking for. If not, and you are trying to troll then disregard.

Why don't you post this stuff on r/CFB or something? Far more mature crowd that would find this kind of stuff interesting. They'll actually respond to the topic rather than the flair that you have next to your username.

If you can't beat 'em, join 'em brother.

Perhaps we'll look into the reddit thing and report back. Meanwhile we'll take a less serious approach here and acclimate better with this environment.

Also, I do a version of data analysis for a living so this isn't hard stuff for me. I'm just refining and perfecting a craft to assist with improving work flows within databases. This has just been a fun project to get a bead on what gets people talking and thinking.

FLORIDA

(Note: Florida has a streak of 361 games without being shut out, which is the longest active streak in the FBS.)
This is pretty amazing considering how bad Florida's offense has been post-Meyer.

It's not only the longest active streak but the longest streak period.

All jokes aside, it's truly an impressive streak (372 games).

The next longest active streaks are TCU (320), Virginia Tech (296), Georgia (291), & Nebraska (283)...
