Yet Alabama will get an at large bid into the playoff.

What would be really weird would be Auburn bearing UGA & Bama to end the season, but both those other teams getting in the playoffs if UGA won the SEC Championship.

IF Alabama is undefeated and drops a very close game at Auburn (ala 2013) it's very possible they get an at large bid.
Ohio State got one last year with 1 loss and not winning their conference title.
If the CFP had been around in 2013 Bama is in the playoffs.
As much melting as that would cause, I still say let's go in the old fashioned way.

No more than 1 SEC team's going to the playoffs...you can take that to the bank.

This is what happens:
Auburn beats UGA on the plains
Auburn beats Bama in the Iron Bowl
Georgia and Auburn play each other in Atlanta, and both teams are 11-1.
Georgia wins the SEC championship.
Georgia and Alabama meet as the 2 and 3 seeds in the playoff.
Auburn plays in the Peach Bowl

I would tend to agree, but what if you had 2 Power 5 conference champs (PAC 12 & Big 12), a 1 loss Bama, a 1 loss conference champ UGA, and 2 other power 5 conference champs w/ 1 loss or less?

The conference has lost too much credibility I'm afraid.

I think it is a real possibility

I think the committee will definitely try to avoid 2 teams from the same conference if they have any viable alternative.
However if there isn't a viable alternative it could happen (and will eventually happen one day).

We don't lose a game is what happens.

Just trying out some reverse psychology. So I jump to the next team we're playing that week and try to act like one of their pompous fans. Just happens to be the Tigers as well...
