Make it a flexible schedule with a title/bowl game at the end

9 game SEC schedule
8 regular season games h/a
1 “Bowl” game after the 8 conference games at neutral site
Thanksgiving weekend.
Pair up teams after the 8 game schedule according to the standings
1 plays 2, 3 plays 4, 5 plays 6, etc

The peach Bowl can between 1 and 2 in Atlanta for the sec title
The toilet bowl can be between 15 and 16 in Birmingham

Arkansas has a chance in-that game

I think this is interesting idea, but we'll have to wait and see how the new MEGA playoff works...

They've made so many changes to college football in such a short amount of time, its really screwed everything up. They couldn't even wait for the third iteration of the 12 team playoff to end before expanding...

They are in fact, massive dipshits

No one is losing a home game with rev sharing.

Well, they have those. They have the Magnolia Bowl, the Red River Rivalry, the Iron Bowl, Battle for the Boot, etc. etc.

What the SEC should do is go back to the 8-team schedule and award the SEC Champs at the end of the season w/o a title game.

Nah I say do something really interesting like weekly revenue sharing split 60/40 between the winner and loser.

Now if you do a week 0 P4 challenge

Where on August 1st each of the big 4 submit 5 teams. Winning conference gets a bye in the playoffs for their top 3 teams.

Be a blind draw for who plays who. 5 bags 1 conference team in each bag.
