Alabama - Nick Saban
Arkansas - Sam Pittman
Georgia - Kirby Smart
Kentucky - Mark Stoops
LSU - Brian Kelly
Miss State - Mike Leach
Ole Miss - Lane Kiffin
Tennessee - Josh Heupel

That's not a bad list of coaches. 2021 was fun and I expect 2022 to be even more so. All of the new guys have made things interesting at their new programs.

LSU's much better off with Kelly than Riley. Always thought Riley was a puss. USC is the perfect place for him.

It’s weird because I feel like the coaching on paper keeps getting better and yet tbh I think every year has looked like worse and worse football for the overall conference since like 2016

Truth is, that is all smoke and mirrors.

Kirby is building a wider and wider gap between the King and the peasants of the conference.

The reason why the rest of the conference is looking worse is because it is worse.

Only Georgia keeps getting better and better.

After '07, the SEC had five HCs with nattys:
Saban
Miles
Spurrier
Meyer
Fulmer

Senator Tubs had a perfect season in '04 as well.

I was thinking the same thing, most SEC coaches for once have their coach , hopefully everyone can keep them for a few years and it will be epic

Kirby is buying a stairway to heaven and we all know it. LSU recruiting budget aka payouts up 10 million this year too. 15 million if gas tops 3 bucks

Didn’t see a UGA coach make the list. Surely you overlooked her since they been so good for so long with all them titles.

Richt went 13-1 in 2002

If Ohio State wasn’t insanely lucky that year he would’ve gotten his shot against Miami in the Fiesta Bowl

You can understand why Riley was scared. Throw in OU and UT for the icing, there will be seasons when then SEC Championship is more compelling than the CFP.

Considering what they've been given, Drinkwitz and Beamer have done fairly well at their schools. They got them bowling, which is especially impressive for SCAR. SCAR laid an egg against Clemson but they had some decent games this season.

We'll see how UF does with Napier. Not a bad hire at all. He'll be better than Mullen.

Vandy's just Vandy. Can't blame Clark Lea for the university turning their heads away from football. Just don't lose another game to an FCS school by 20 right out the gate next season.

Jimbo needs to step it up. Going 8-4 for $9 million a year isn't acceptable. 8-4 is not bad at all, and a lot of schools would kill for that record in the SEC, but A&M should do better.

How is Kirby helping Alabama widen the gap? Unless you are claiming that Georgia is the King, which is patently absurd.

I’m starting to think that too much money can be a problem. I simply can’t think of another reason why Texas A&M and Texas aren’t the two best football programs in the nation. Money obviously can’t buy success on the football field.
