Twelve of the SEC’s fanbases will get to watch their teams play more ball. The SEC will end up with 5 or 6 teams in the WCWS. It looks like 12 schools will get to keep playing baseball in the NCAA tournament. It is Memorial Day weekend and only South Carolina, Missouri, Vandy and LSU are completely done on the diamonds.

It's been amazing to watch the OP do a complete 180 on the importance of college baseball, in less than a calendar year.
We've gone from "no one watches it" and "make it an intramural sport", to the OP creating nearly 20 threads about, just this season.

Yep since 2008, a team from the has literally played in every CWS title game with the exception of 2016 and 2020 was canceled.

Georgia is very good. I have waited all season for their major flaws to appear, but none have. I have waited all year for them to hit a major slump. They haven’t. They may just be that good.
I really thought the game was over when Florida went up 6-0. I didn’t think Georgia had the grit to come back against a team as good as Florida. Especially after my lucky quarter picked the Gators to win. They proved me and my lucky quarter wrong.

So much power in that lineup.
They also have better pitching and fielding than they get credit for.
But the hitting is the strength of that team. They are not only good for power, they are tough outs. They get on base and don’t strikeout much.
