Hence why I don't see how keeping rivalries & playing everybody H/A is possible IN ONLY 4 YEARS.
Which is why the rivalries won’t be kept as the school presidents and the mouse want a full home and home rotation every 4 years.
If it’s so important you can schedule them non conference.

would love to see Ark.,Tx, OU and A&M play each other if not every year every other year because I think it would be great TV for the newly expanded SEC.
You are more than right, but damn would it be weird not playing LSU or Ole Miss every year. Those are my favorite games

UT would have UK, it’s one of the oldest rivalries
UGA would have USC.. it’s USCs 2nd oldest rivalry

I want the 9 game schedule with 3 OOC opponents.
Two divisions are the key! just play 11 SEC games and have 1 permanent crossover opponent. This will mean just 1 outside of the conference game. This might be best solution. This will be fair to all.

HELL NO!!!
UGA (GT)
Fl. (FSU)
SC (Clemson)
Ky. (Louisville)
These 4 would NEVER be able to schedule anybody.

For instance, last year’s Alabama-Florida game in the Swamp was the first regular-season matchup between the two in 10 years.
Wrong..

Already, there is compromise from one group to the other in regard to the three permanent opponents.
Wrong again
Alabama has as much as said the 3 perms will be Aub-UT and State. Gmac said this has been told to him from a person in the Bama athletic dept and Gmac would have access to that. The "bottom" or the "top" 8 teams will not remain the same anyway. This is being a prisoner of the moment.
Kentucky will not be playing State
Mizzou will not be playing south carolina
Florida wont be playing OU
This is ones mans "take" on what he'd LIKE to see.

Don’t forget
Texas (Texas Tech)
OU (OK State)
Mizzou (Kansas) - is coming back

Didn't know those.
Now there's 6 (so far) against 11 conf. games.

I highly doubt the Texas TTU game stays and Mizz-KU isn’t scheduled every year , only 4 times till 2035 and Mizz already has all other years scheduled with OOC
Bedlam will stay

3-6 literally does that. Do you have more than 3 rivals in the SEC?

How does the 3-6 model not preserve rivalries?

Why do the 4 teams with OOC in state rivals expect the SEC to protect those games. frick those games, youre in a conference which is most important over those games. I do assume there will be room to schedule those teams for those 4, but to expect the conference to change what they want to do to preserve GA tech/ GA, for instance, is about the most arrogant thing ive seen on this site, and thats saying something

UGA doesn't, but Ala. does...unless you don't consider yourself a rival?
Aub. wants UGA, Ala., & Fl./Tn..
So where does that put y'all...maybe Fl.?

We're only saying that you CAN'T make a schedule where teams CAN'T play anybody they choose to.
Therefore 11 SEC WON'T fly.

Giving a 9 game SEC schedule just so there are no more .500 conference seasons.
Then 2 P5 opponents and 1 FCS
or
1 P5 and 2G5s.

Every opponent home and away in a six year stretch is much better.
Blows my mind that people overcorrect so hard.
