The SEC is DOA

the yearly grift that the SEC sells every year that they are far and away the best conference in college football is again exposed for the fallacy that it is.
Currently sitting at 2-6 in bowl games, the scoreboard says it all. Now, one of those losses was to another SEC team, as SEC apologists will claim, and that's fair. So if you take off that loss, and you also take off that win (because you can't do one without the other) the SEC is 1-5.

Meanwhile, the Big10 and Big12 are off to great starts. When the SEC starts scheduling non-conference P4 games, then they can talk. And please skip the B.S. about the playing the full "SEC slate". The Big is better top to bottom, as is the Big 12.

Right, because the SEC is the only conference that has opt outs. The supposed "depth" of an SEC team should be able to negate the "opt out" issue, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
