Of the Power 4 conferences. Only the SEC has fewer teams in the top 25 now, than they did in the preseason top 25.
They were literally over-rated.

That's awesome! ??
Rather than throw out a bunch of hypotheticals, let's just look at the games that have actually been played.
SEC should never have had 5 teams in the CFP. That's the only reason SEC teams are playing each other in the CFP.
They got to 11 wins on the backs of Tenn, So. Carolina, Auburn, Florida, etc.

You're right, UGA does schedule decent non-conference opponents. But that is Georgia. The SEC overall does not.
I'm not saying that the SEC doesn't have great teams, they do. But the conference from top to bottom isn't as strong as it's made out to be.
There are enough years where they are, so the ESPN/SEC media machine just takes it for granted that they will be every year. Case in point:
LSU
Florida
South Carolina
Tennessee
Were all ranked in the preseason top 25, yet none were even close to that at the end of the year.

I'm sensitive? Hahahaha!!
This year, the SEC is everybody's bitch.

How many was is there to say 1-5?
Wait, here is something you can understand. If a city 6 waffle houses, and 5 burn down, how many waffle houses didn't get toasted?

I checked my math twice, but feel free to use your calculator.

So is your husband
No, the threads are all started by SEC shills crowing about domination. You can't celebrate when you do well, and stick your head in the sand when you don't. Win gracefully, lose gracefully.
Right, because the SEC is the only conference that has opt outs. The supposed "depth" of an SEC team should be able to negate the "opt out" issue, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

the yearly grift that the SEC sells every year that they are far and away the best conference in college football is again exposed for the fallacy that it is.
Currently sitting at 2-6 in bowl games, the scoreboard says it all. Now, one of those losses was to another SEC team, as SEC apologists will claim, and that's fair. So if you take off that loss, and you also take off that win (because you can't do one without the other) the SEC is 1-5.
1-5
1-5
Meanwhile, the Big10 and Big12 are off to great starts. When the SEC starts scheduling non-conference P4 games, then they can talk. And please skip the B.S. about the playing the full "SEC slate". The Big is better top to bottom, as is the Big 12.
