I would argue that Tennessee has probably never had 100k people actually attend a game in Neyland

The loudest game in college football history occurred on November 18, 2023, at Tennessee's Neyland Stadium, reaching a record-breaking 137 decibels during the game against Georgia. This event surpassed previous records, including the 133.6 decibels recorded at Washington's Husky Stadium in 2019 and the ~133 decibels at LSU's Tiger Stadium and South Carolina's Williams-Brice Stadium at different points.

Don't blame me it's what google came up with. Honestly I think the game against OU might have been louder. I was at both.

I firmly believe that Neyland Stadium would only hold about 75-80K if they used 100% seatbacks. They have some "seats" that are only 12-13" wide.

It used to be that any time another stadium would push them on capacity, they would just go out and re-stripe the bleachers to get more seats.

IMHO going to a game at Neyland is a miserable experience, Even if you weigh only a buck-ninety-five. Tons of people have to watch the game standing sideways.

Oregon is louder than Husky stadium. Been to both. Can confirm that Oregon is one of the loudest in the nation. OSU only gets loud for night games

Looking at the list, three of the largest fifteen are in Texas.

Husky stadium has stuctural replicant sound, so it seems like the fans are making more noise. I wish SEC teams did that.

Measuring decibels at stadiums is very inexact and anything claiming to have broken some record in the last couple seasons is highly suspect.

It’s all horseshite imo but Neyland when she is rocking is unmatched when it comes to noise.

Shame they have started the process of pricing out the common south endzone RED, the Georgia atmosphere was mid af this year and it’s not even like they brought an abnormal amount of fans to Knoxville.

Wow! Anger issues? You may want to have that seen about before you die of a heart attack or something.

No anger at all. I just have a very low tolerance for idiots and imbeciles...like your Ole Miss buddy and you.
