Are these even real hotdog toppings?

Yes (every old-school hot dog place has their own sauce)
I've tried it
No

Every hotdog place attempts to "elevate" their hotdogs, because of foodies.

Bunch of assholes. The gall to think about even trying to re-invent the hotdog.

ETA: there's a hotdog joint in Baton Rouge that had one called "The Situation" that was a hotdog topped with Velveeta shells and cheese and bacon

It was pretty legit.

The versatility of an all beef frank has no bounds for what you put on it or dice it up and put it in.

I tried what they called a "Southern" Chicago Dog at a dog truck once. It was just ketchup and mustard covered with a apple cider vinegar cucumber salad with Vidalia and diced tomatoes. It was delicious

A cucumber in vinegar is a pickle. If you make a pickle into a salad it's called relish.

He's not asking if you can, he's asking who and why. A guac dog doesn't make sense to me.
