The powers that be can make all of this go away in the time it takes to set up a conference call. They have all the power to set college football on the right path and maintain the integrity of amateur athletics But they don’t until in makes them look bad because they are floating in cash.
This decision needed to be done but they would not have moved on it if it hadn’t slapped them in the face.
