So I gather that you now understand those of us who lost family, as distant as they may be, defending Columbia and that capital against an invading army ... you now understand why you cannot be there doing what it is y'all do in those youtube videos of midnight yell practice.
Correct?

I just went back in read some if the cocks comments... And holy shite I cannot believe how serious they are about another school holding a pep rally not on their campus. Are you people really scared a few hundred people are going to some how forget they're there to watch a football game and turn into a hostile military force that will somehow take over your state. I'm about to laugh just typing the recap.

We heard the same thing every single time we played in Waco, Austin, Lubbock, Dallas, Fort Worth, etc. since before anyone in this thread was born. Opposing fanbases always talk shite beforehand about fricking with yell practice, then hundreds of Aggies show up and it goes off without a hitch every time.
USC fans aren't gonna do shite, just like every other fanbase that said they were gonna disrupt yell practice.

It's the same shite Texas fans always did when we had yell practice around the capital building.
Never once did it amount to anything. They can talk big online, but is any rational USC fan gonna risk spending the night in jail to uphold some misplaced sense of honor? Of course not.
It's the most hollow of threats.

apparently holding a pep rally at your state capital
The ironic thing is I have absolutely no problem with you holding your pity party at our State House, personally. But it does offend some people. And the response to that offense, for the most part, seemed to be "frick your opinion, we're Texans... We do what we want!!" But when you get offended by a joke made at the expense of something you cherish suddenly I'm a soulless bastard that should be lynched from the nearest tree... It's really quite entertaining...

Does A+M really need to have a bunch of men yelling late at night when traveling to other teams turf?

Every school says they're going to mess with it. Some do. No biggie usually. However they act like this is about something besides football. We aren't a concurring army. This isn't the 1800s. Y'all aren't in the Middle East.

History reveals this to be a fairly accurate statement.

That was the response from a couple of guys who were trolling you on an Internet board that trolls Ags for a living.
That would not be the university's--nor most Ags' response.
Surely you know that.

And what does the history of South Carolina tell you about our pentient for over reaction to perceived slights?

It tells me you shouldn't have dropped out of school before learning to spell penchant correctly.

Must be frustrating to go through life as "the other Carolina".

What? Hollow threats? Are you even going to the damn thing? As many Gamecock fans in this thread and the ones on Cockytalk have mentioned most Gamecock fans aren't actually bothered by it and aren't going to try to disrupt it.
I think what you guys meant by "no one ever does anything about it" really means that we all just go on living our lives rather then watch someone practice cheers they haven't been able to memorize after about 80 years. It'll be a midnight on a Wednesday night, there won't be very many SC fans out to begin with.
The practice will go off without a hitch. Don't just give me that "we're big bad Texans crap" online and say that everyone else is all about online threats. You go around SC and try to give people the high and mighty "I'm Texan and you're not" in real life you will encounter resistance.
