The regionals making hosts play as away team is dumb......

The way they do it makes the least sense.
Option 1 would be best:
Highest seed always is home team. Those teams earned it.
Option 2
Undefeated team hosts the regional final games even if they are the lower seed. This could still have the home team operating as the visitor, but at least the non host would have earned the right in some way.
