Why not use Dancing Bear from Kaptain Kangaroo?
Dancing Bear

They may even be able to get a deal on the old costumes.

The Ole Miss Rebel Masterbating Black Bear

I was wondering what that bear has been doing since Conan's been off the air.

Well, he certainly wouldn't have let LSU get away with that fake filed goal...

ETA: I think Lucas put the kabosh on that one.

I've never seen a black bear wearing a suit and tie. It seems more like a frat bear.

-They are still the Ole Miss Rebels.

-Their logo is still "Ole Miss" in script.

-The Black Bear is just a mascot on the sideline just like Alabama's fricking elephant.

-People are dumb.

-The Black Bear has significance in Mississippi history. Ever heard where Teddy Roosevelt got his nickname or William Faulkner's "The Bear"?

I wonder how long it takes the politically correct police to figure out where the "fighting tigers" came from and we have to change our name to something like "the fighting regular tigers, like in the forest, nothing to do with the Confederate forces.... due to the possible offensive nature tigers"

i think the pc police would have a really hard time with trying to do that since the original louisiana unit with the bengal tiger is still in the order of battle of the us army.....i.e. the 141st field artillery (washington artillery of new orleans)......and the history of that unit goes back to before the mexican war

i really think they missed out on something with admiral ackbar....getting beyond their history....and a lot more fun to boot....even mike the tiger admitted in his recent espn interview that he was scared of admiral ackbar...

and so what if he looks like a catfish, that's a major industry in mississippi!!!!!

Makes me feel better? I am an LSU fan. My feelings are not hurt. People just sound stupid calling it a Rebel Black Bear, when in fact they are not combined. They are NOT the Ole Miss Rebel Black Bears. They ARE the Ole Miss Rebels. The Black Bear is literally just a dude in a costume on the sidelines.

It is amazing how dumb some people sound. How is a fricking bear pathetic? Stop sounding like a moron. Don't let your hatred for Ole Miss cloud your judgement of one of the cooler animals around in the South.
