This man took a part of him that he'll never get back.

I doubt Kirby really thinks much about Florida these days.

Ask Kirby why he wants home and home so bad, especially before we get back to our rightful spot in the elite, and if you gave him truth serum he'd tell you it's because he was there for half a hundred,

Y'all know it's true.

The same way Vince Dooley and Bill Stanfill ruined Spurrier we have our Spurrier and he is going to make Florida’s life a living hell for the foreseeable future.

I’m sure LSU could say the same about Spurrier but we’re pretty far passed that IMO. As bad as it was in the 90s, and it was bad, it just typically doesn’t bring the angst that it used to.

You don't know Kirby.

He is 100% recruiting 100% of the time.

You should know this by now.

Nevermind. Florida fans only think about recruiting during recruiting season.

It means a lot to Mutt, it always has. They're easily our second biggest rival and we're easily their first.

Our "rivalry" wasn't even really a thing until Arky and SCar came along.

I remember when everyone said he was God's gift to coaching. A true savant on gamedays.

Easily your number one rival. Ask your coach. Ask any fan not born a decade ago.

I love how gator fans tell us Dawgs who our #1 rival is.

Again... you have zero clue.
Atlanta fans hate tech the most.
Columbus fans hate Auburn the most.
Valdosta fans hate the gators the most.
Augusta fans hate Clemson the most.
Dalton fans hate Tennessee the most.

The real answer is Georgia Tech. Just lose once to them, and you will know why they are the most hated rival.

Florida only gets the benefit to being a gateway for atlanta (and we are the same for you in that regard).

It's not, you know that. Also, I don't give a fat rat's arse, coach speak is irrelevant, your coach HATES UF more than he hates every other team.

Why are you melting all over this thread?

You are religiously wrong within this thread.

I'm getting tired of the trolling to be honest.

Yet he has more natties as a HC than that man. I also didn't think a UGA coach (really any coach) needed a particular reason to hate Florida. They're pretty easy to hate. Idk what that program does to coaches but Mullen wasn't sitting star players on senior days and dressing up as Darth Vader in pressers at MSU, Shark fricker wasn't talking as much shite as he did at CSU or any other stop. Even Napier last year had to do the "HOLD ME BACK OR I'M FIGHTING THE REF" thing in the Tennessee game last year with his assistants that I never remember him doing at ULL. Muschamp was always a hothead/meathead rah rah guy so there was nothing to change there.

I've never seen a program where generally reserved coaches just turn up the douche level to 11 like the Florida program does to coaches. I would say Spurrier being the guy with all the one liners and needling other coaches/programs is still somewhat holding your program back because other coaches feel the need to be that way when they don't have to. They can't pull it off like Spurrier could

Kinda just made my point. He didn't try to emulate Spurrier, he did his own thing and won 2 natties off it. That's why I didn't mention him in my post. Meyer was pretty complementary in the media and didn't stir shite. He let his players do that. Both on and off the field Can't wait for that netflix doc to drop

But he's the OG. That's his identity. He even did it at USC. That's just who Spurrier is. Spurrier has been often imitated but can never be duplicated, and yalls coaches need to stop trying so hard to be that and just be themselves. Because the people I listed earlier didn't act like that at their previous stops, that's just simply not who they are, but something at Florida made them feel the need to act that way.
