Ehh I dont think much of that matters anymore.

Getting everything out of a kid just became the hardest thing to do now that they are millionaires.

Coaching just became that much harder especially at top universities where you have multiple kids drawing over 1 mil and have to deal with what that brings.

Didn’t Indiana just prove to everyone that it’s not about talent and draft picks?

It’s about coaching and having a team of 24 year old mercenaries now, same as college bball.

If they didn’t the pinstripe bowl should have. 7-6Clemson(9 draft pics) vs 7-6 Penn state(8 draft pics). LSU had 7 draft picks and couldn’t find the postseason. All preseason top ten teams

Just an fyi, LSU went to the Texas Bowl

Not great, but probably as prestigious as the Pinstripe Bowl.
Interesting to note, both LSU and Penn State fired their coaches midseason because of the lack of success, while Clemson clings to Dabo.

I agree that the SEC has the most depth. I also say so what? What does it mean or matter? We all have 1 team we root for and that’s all we care about. I got zero joy out of Miami winning a few games in the playoffs because they mean nothing to me. And the only reason I cared a little about the whole Indiana story was that so many SEC fans play the conference card. The SEC may be the best conference but they haven’t shown that in the expanded playoffs. I am an underdog type guy so I was rooting for an Ole Miss-Indiana final because I wanted a new fanbase to experience the joy.
