It is hilarious how butt hurt LSU fans are over Bama getting in the playoff when LSU is the reason Bama is in the playoff. Had Auburn not shite the bed against LSU and won that game, Auburn would be in the playoffs with UGA, not Bama.

Auburn had their shot at glory. I think it ended when Ronnie Harrison blasted Kerryon Johnson and all those carries caught up to him.

This is some of the most retarded logic in a while.
This implies that LSU should have stopped trying to beat Barn, despite idiot Gus meltdown in the 2nd half, and lost the game ... with the sole purpose of sticking it to Alabama.
Why not just say it's LSU's fault for not beating Alabama?

Auburn was certainly the better team in the Iron Bowl that day, but it was a close game through most of the 4th quarter.
However, at the end of the day it was just a single conference road loss that didn't disqualify UA from what our goal is. In the BCS/playoff era the championship has made rivalry games as the be-all/end-all largely irrelevant to the teams regularly competing for them (UA, Florida, USC, Ohio St, Oklahoma). I like to beat Auburn and LSU, but it's just a means to an end now.

I agree and with the way things worked out I truly believe that Bama deserves to be there and as much as it pains me to say it, I hope Bama wins it all!!!
Not going to cheer against a conference team and would rather the trophy reside in the state of Alabama over Georgia, especially with as douchey as their fans have become this season. I guess that can be forgiven, though, because how can they act like they have been there before when about 99% of their fans on here weren't even a gleam in their daddy's eye the last time UGA won a natty.
