His dad was Lester Earl. Highly recruited 90s basketball player. Lied and told the NCAA he accepted money from boosters. Later apologized for making it up and blamed the whole thing on NCAA investigators pressuring him. Which is probably true.
The penalties enforced led to the LSU meme and, later, poster "draconian sanctions"

You would think these LSU fans would have some River Rat Gumbo to tend too. Ive never seen a fan base or population of people that will eat anything like the folks in Louisiana. Ive seen stores in Homa with Possum meat for sale signs out front. Racoon cooked here. Who eats this shite?

LSU has had great talent across-the-board since Saban shut the rich LA gates, and any given year LSU could put it all together. LSU looks solid so far and has much to be excited about: especially when considering they've been living in a "2011 disaster" mud-hole since. LSU is desperate for national success, but Bama fans should understand this desperation after experiencing those 2 probation era's.
Bama is playing against the odds this year because winning 7 in-a-row over a team who usually has that much NFL talent, circles YOUR game every year, and has acquired confidence is a tough chore. This is probally Bama's most dangerous game this season, and it should be a great game indeed.

I find it hilarious when SEC fans argue about which fan base has the more trashy element. At the end of every horse race, there would be a photo finish.
