He got bumped to a 5*. Doing it all for the team while still winning at a non-powerhouse 6A school doesn't really happen. If Jimbo ruins this kid it'll be a shame.

Well, temporarily speaking they at least avoided more Ls in the record books to Texas. That's obviously ending soon.

It's not Jimbo. It's A&M. No matter how hard you guys try you are going to be a middle of the pack team most years. Last year wasn't a fluke, it's just what a good season for A&M looks like. Your expectations are just too high. Good luck the rest of the year.
Ed O lucked into 2019, but it shows you just how powerful LSU can be as they have now won a national championship with their last 3 coaches.
UF hasn't had sustained success since Meyer left, but every coach since then has had at least one 10 win season. That's a testament to just how good they can be with the right coach.
TAMU has had poor hires. Sumlin was carried by his OCs, and Jimbo gave up at FSU and has been cruising since then. Unless he has a generational QB, it takes him 3 years to develop a QB. I mean they get drafted and play as backups, but that doesn't help you college wise. His offense was last good almost 10 years ago.
Texas with the right coach would have owned the Big 12 and been in the playoffs every year. A what if on Art Briles.
USC would have been to the playoffs every year with an Urban Meyer or hell, they would at least stayed in the top 10 with Kingsbury.
