Here are examples of a 75% passer that is inexperienced not seeing the deep passes as often as he should. Friend of mine taking these from a MSU sports site:
Wide open.... QB doesn't see it or is not sure of what he's seeing. That's a window wide open.

By Leach's own admission, he doesn't "believe a balanced offense means a balance of snaps, as only passing plays use all 11 players on the field."

The LaVell Edwards coaching tree typically does not use a running game. Short passes to the flats are what make up the running game.
