WTF? You are bringing up a game from 2012 but somehow dismiss all the games from 2011 and before?
Yes, you have scoreboard on us but we have dominated you throughout history and that history begins with the year before that 2012 game.
Of course we have to go back 10 years. We haven't played in almost a decade.
And I would say wins over Florida, Auburn, and Alabama don't indicate we've been getting our butts kicked.
Crap, we beat Alabama since you last did. We don't have to play them every year for a decade to get one win against them.

We beat Alabama back in 2014. By a good margin. Sure, they didn't want to be there. We should have beat Georgia a couple years back. Up 21-7 at the half.
Now LSU is a different story. They whipped the livin dog shite out of us. But, we didn't have our top RB in that game. He's a New England Patriot now. Nor did we have our top pass rusher, one hell of a good player. Excuses excuses. We all make them.
The funny thing about those wins against Florida, Auburn, and Alabama, nobody was making excuses before the game. Nope, SEC fans were all over here saying we were going to get our a$$e$ handed to us.
Then, like clockwork, once the game was played then all backpeddled with excuses.

Are you saying that a major bowl versus a major conference champion is just as meaningful as the Texas bowl versus an unranked opponent?

It takes quite a lack of self awareness to call us the tallest midget in the Big 12 when you have to go back to the 1990's to find your lone Big 12 title.
It also takes quite a lack of self awareness to call all of our bowl wins irrelevant but someone constantly beat your chest about your bowl win over us in 2012.
It also takes quite a lack of self awareness to consider the 2012 game relevant but 2011 and before "a long time ago."

I was wondering what the Texas Bowl had to do with anything but then looked it up.
Aggie barely beat Ok. St. by 3 in the last Texas Bowl and lost to KSU in 2016.
They talk crap about how bad the Big 12 teams are yet they seem to be mediocre when they actually play them.

So the 2013 Cotton Bowl was a major bowl game for aggy? It gets hard to keep follow aggy lore, as one of your esteemed aggy posters recently indicated the Cotton Bowl ranked behind such big time bowls as the Holiday and Alamo, which were two of the biggest bowl wins in aggy history. Congrats on those big time wins resulting in fabulous 15th final ranking.

Congrats? Not sure what that has to do with the discussion, but again, congrats on last season resulting in one of aggy's best final rankings in history. You didn't even have to win your conference, your division, or win 10 games to have a historical season for aggy.

Calm down man..LOL...Nah, OU won it fairly and squarely but I can tell you that Bama team couldn't care less about that game. I think we had two O Line starters and one key DB who sat out the game. Our O was awful and so was the defense. OU had some tiny LB our O Line could not account for. I think his name was Stryker or Striker.
