I think the committee will do some really awkward twisting to make sure that only 1 SEC team gets in this year.
The other conferences are not making it easy for them, but I would not be surprised if a team like Cincy got in over a second SEC team.

As it stands right now Alabama plays 6 ranked teams during regular season, then will face another one in the SECCG, whoever that will be.

Not a single one will be a top 15 team, more than likely. Playing top 10 teams and playing teams ranked 15-25 is not equal.

I said before the season I expect OU to be the 2 seed in the playoffs. Not because I think they are the second best team, but because their schedule is a joke and they will be double digit favorites in every game
This happens every year. OU will probably lose a regular season game and then they will end up winning the big 12 and get in. They get the benefit of the doubt every year

Its why I keep saying joining the SEC is the best thing to happen to the Sooners since Stoops showed up there. They are going to have a pretty good team that isn't battle tested at all. Baylor is not going to get you ready to play Alabama or Georgia in the playoffs.
They will take their lumps getting used to the SEC but if Oklahoma is going to win a natty I think their best shot is to survive an SEC trial by fire so that when they get Notre Dame in the first round it will seem like a weekend off.

I have no problem with Oklahoma and think they have an outstanding program. I just hate it when people make stupid comments and I almost feel compelled to tell them where they are wrong.
