It’s not like both those teams haven’t dummied sec teams in the past 5 years either. OU recruits as good or better than A&M and sure as frick gets more out of its players than A&M does. Hell y’all haven’t had a decent QB since 2012, when your best team ever beat one of the most average OU teams in the past 20 years in a meaningless bowl they didn’t give a shite about. Preseason they pumped Iowa State as some borderline elite team. I wondered why they were doing this. But they just need an excuse for sending OU to the CFP for another dose of humiliation. So, highly ranked Iowa State is what we get. Got to give OU a ranked win somehow and Iowa State was the best candidate.

This has been discussed often, OU barely had enough players to play due to COVID, they had some stars yes, but no depth and they were breaking in a new QB.. Perhaps we should have done like A&M and cancelled games. The team got MUCH better as the year progressed. It was a down year none the less and any one with a brain knows not to base a 10 year projection on one year that is an outlier.

No delusion, just fact. You just can't deal with A&M's continued mediocrity once in the SEC, it basically averaged the same average finish in the SEC as it had for the previous 10 years in the B12.

True I forgot 2007, and by that metric they have been more successful, they still were not as consistent over the 20 year period, they had 64 losses, OU had 50, by the that metric OU was more consistent year to year. By the way, you missed OU's 1 title in 2000 (played in 2001) which I was counting.

Again, not sure where you are getting your stats.. A&M was only in the B12 THREE years before Stoops came, and those three years were the Blake years, the worst coach at OU in last 50 years. OU's record against A&M during the B12 years was 4-4 in College Station, and yes 2 of those losses were Blake years. A&M was 1-7 in Norman, and 3 of those losses were Franch years to be fair. So I am not sure what you are trying to say... No delusion, just facts.

Now here is some cherry picking delusion on your part. A&M may have boat raced OU the last time, with their best team ever... but the year before OU boatraced them (you aggies seemed to have blocked that out). Bama beat us by 11, we beat them by 14 just before that, LSU did, but they boatraced everyone... and Georgia beat us in 2OT, if you think that's boatracing... YOU are once again delusional.
