As a Cowboy fan I would rather have Nick Saban, but it won't happen. I am hope Shannahan.

The Cowboys should bring back Jimmy Johnson. It's been what fifteen years now. I'm sure Jimmy and Jerry have patched up their differences.

The man never leaves a job unfinished. He is a perfectionist. If he feels that he failed in Miami (which he did) then he will return to the NFL. Besides he commands the one thing all teams need to win: discipline. He is a Bill Belichick disciple (during the Cleveland stint) and acts like it too, a genius on the field, but an a$$hole off.

Simpley, Saban doesn't do excuses, particularly not with himself , and thats why he'll return to the NFL. Thats also why he's a great fit for the Cowboys, NO NONSENSE.

Les Miles. He would make a good doggie on a leash in Dallas.

He was in dallas before going to Ok state

Jerry loved him. I would be all for it to. Not to mention Miles is the kinda puppet Jerry likes.

He was also the Tight Ends coach there before being HC at OSU.

And we'll steal jason Garret in the process.

"Les Miles has everything that you look for in a quality head coach. He has experience, outstanding communication skills and an excellent ability to work with people. In addition, I believe his No. 1 asset is his character. He is a first-class person who treats his players and associates with class and integrity. I have no doubt that he will do an excellent job as a head coach at Oklahoma State, and we will miss him and his contributions to the Dallas Cowboys."

I don't want Miles coaching the Cowboys. IMO, the next head coach needs to be someone with a little more backbone. Whether Jerry sees it that way, I don't know.
