We are ranked 2 spots above UAB in recruiting. You know UAB - the school that didn't field a team last year.

No more Dak. No wonder Mullen was trying to jump ship to Miami.

Recruiting services just rank players based on the offers they have gotten. They don't have a clue about how to accurately judge any players other than the top 5 or 10 studs. You guys will be fine, you have good coaches and good talent evaluators.

mullen really wants out. Who wants to play for a program trending way down, a lame duck coach, and an being dominated by an in state rival. The bowl game will tell quite a bit. If they lose and then lose 2 out of the 3 4* guys in Starkville, it's over. Hearing that Simmons is close to committing to ole miss soon and Brown does not want to stay home.

MSU will end up in the 25-30 range.

Missouri, South Carolina and UAB out-recruiting Muffin.
High school kids would rather visit Columbia, MO than try out Starkville

Well that's not really true, but even if it were...wouldn't that mean State's recruiting class is ranked so low because State sucks as a program?

Doesn't something have to actually start before it can be over?

I didn't know recruiting classes were finished in mid Dec. State will finish in the top 30 when it's all said and done and possibly around 20. Our class will be fine. Hell all of the one's running the lip are OM fans, it was just 10 months ago that our last class was higher than yours.

Agreed. Can tell your kids:
"Without Nick Saban Dak would have won the west his Junior year."
