Since 1970 Bama has a 17-4-1 record against LSU in DV. The time doesn't really matter. Bama owns DV

That weekend is the weekend CBS set their double header. That cannot be changed. They just have to announce that the LSU/Bama game will be the night game. Only other competition really is the A&M/AU game and I don't see CBS going with that game over LSU/Bama.

What makes you think regular stats matter? Did you not just watch the ole miss/LSU game?
If it's at night in DV, it's going to be a defensive matchup...another 17-14 type of score.

I agree. jennings is going to have to go after the bama secondary or it won't be much of a game IMO

All he has to do is hit those mid-deep corssing patterns and he can burn us all day. We have finally figured out how to stop getting burned on the long ball and our LB's have finally figured out coverage on the mid-short throws. Its that area right behind that where we still have problems it seems.

Look at Bama's record in Tiger Stadium. Sorry, but it is not that intimidating a place.

Bama fans confidence is a little over the top, it's probably just over-compensation for the fear deep within.
Personally, I'm glad one of them is losing but I'm thinking it will go down to the wire.

It is interesting the you think that running the football is not "offense." LSU's main problem was the fumble at the 3, the missed FG from the 12, and not getting it in the end zone and having to settle for a FG from the 2. That is 18 points that they did not grab when they had the chance. But, I give Ole Miss and their #1 defense credit. They did a good job as well.

But over 400 yards and a 96 yard, 13 play drive to win the game is the definition of "offense." Just because 140 was threw the air does not mean that LSU cannot move the ball.

It's definitely at 7:00. I love it, all day to tailgate. It's not like we didn't win last time at night down there.

Doesn't matter either way. When it comes to Alabama the whole night game in Death Valley advantage does not exist. The game will be a war and the better team will win, but playing during the day or at night won't matter.

What makes you think Bama fans confidence is over the top? Most of us have known BEFORE the season even started that this would be the CBS double header and that it would be a night game. It's gonna be a good, hard fought game like always.

Have you seen ANYONE run the ball well against us this year? Our weak spot is through the air and we over compensate for it by being ridiculous against the run. If LSU doesnt find balance, there will be no chance.

Its not like Ole Miss' or Arkansas' offenses lit us up.

Going into Tiger Stadium with our communication issues on offense & no LT scare the Hell out of me. Would not be the least bit shocked to see us lose this one.

It will be.

And it will be absolutely ridiculous in there.

I see a lot of posts from Bama fans saying the night DV effect doesn't matter based on the past record...I personally think that effect has mattered more in recent years.
Not acknowledging that this will probably be your toughest game yet this season is dangerous overconfidence or foolishness.

Who hasn't acknowledged that it is going to be extremely difficult? I just don't think the time of the game has much to do with it, and it's certainly not the "most important question."
