The Feds have tape from wire taps made on McGregor and other prominent Auburn boosters from their investigation. The Newton's were just shopping their talent's to the wrong people at the wrong time and thus there is hard evidence available that incriminates everyone involved. It's only a matter of time that all of this information becomes public.

FBI found out about Cam before the NCAA did while wiretapping Milton McGregor and others related to the casino/bingo indictments. They uncovered conversations with McGregor, Auburn and Cam's uncle in Michigan. McGregor paid $250K to the uncle through a PAC and other hidden entities and the uncle funneled the money to Cecil.

Auburn is done. Goodnight and goodbye.

That (if true) is like... "Colonel Mustard did it with the candlestick in the conservatory."

Here you go man, this is it all in a 33 page book form called, "As The Plains Burn". It is all there for your reading pleasure. This great reading. Everything you want and need to know about how it all came about and how it all more than likely will end and soon I hope!

On a personal note, I am pissed to know that when I built a fence at my home it now turns out some of the proceeds I spent on materials were actually helping Auburn stockpile recruits.

What a glorious thread. This must've consumed about 50% of my time the past few days. Thanks folks.

Oh, and hello as well.

One thing about the foundation's 990's. He said the last two years were not available. Probably not if using Guidestar. HOWEVER, IRS regs say the nonprofit has to keep copies of the tax returns available for PUBLIC inspection at all times at their offices. That means someone can walk in and ask to see them. 2009 probably is there.

While there is a small part in me that holds out hope SuperC comes thru this, the flicker of hope dims. After finding little on the AU sites, I roamed the TS site. It was a constant circle jerk of "Auburn's dirty", "Thug U" etc, but no history. A reference to TD brought me here. Props to Tuna for the history I hadn't heard much of this in TX/OU land.

Wonder how much my diplomas from AU and SMU would fetch on e-Bay?

I dont' want to start a new thread asking but.... Is there a realistic possiblity that LSU benefits and goes to the SEC championship game? That is really all i care about.

I got a sick feeling earlier when I was reading that fanhouse article saying Cam Newton was ineligible by SEC standards, that Slive might be getting paid by a few schools and/or particular boosters, or the SEC office are paying refs.

That would be the ultimate......The SEC wouldn't gain it's reputation back for decades.

I wonder how many people have had their first posts on TD because of Camgate. there seems to have been quite a few just in this thread alone

IIII would like to know the rise of traffic on this board since this whole deal broke out.
