(no way in heck I'm going back to find it )
Not personally, but in the least gay way I can think of to say it, I know him in an internet way

Hell no. W&L is not that piece of shite, payment arranging, cheating barner Chette Williams.

He thinks Barn is going to be kicked out of the SEC? I am not saying whoever this is right or wrong about any of this, because I surely have no sources or information. But I can't imagine in any scenario Auburn being kicked out of the conference.
Here's the only scenario where Auburn gets kicked out of the conference. It's highly unlikely, but still possible: Auburn could lose its accreditation with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. They were put on probation by SACS after the Bobby Lowder-Jetgate affair for issues of lack of institutional control and conflicts of interest among trustees.
NCAA probation would be nothing. 30 scholarships and a 3 year postseason ban would be a mere slap on the wrist in comparison. They lose their SACS accreditation and the entire university gets nuked back to the stone age. No more federal funding. No more federally subsidized student loans. No more Auburn grads getting into grad school, med school, law school dental school, etc. A degree from Auburn would be worth no more than one from an online diploma mill. And, I imagine, they would lose their membership in the SEC if they are no longer an accredited university.

Christ... I hate Auburn but I don't wish that on them. I highly doubt that is going to happen, and I hope it doesn't. All I want is for their sports programs to pay for what they did.

has a major university ever lost accreditation?
it's fun to speculate, but i REALLY doubt it happens. the scandal would have to be unprecedented.

No. Read about this last night and the answer is no.

3. while the fbi investigation could go on for years, it appears the ncaa investigation will happen quickly. they can declare newton ineligible for whatever reason they see fit and not announce the reason due to the ongoing fbi investigation.
Actually, FBI investigations can go pretty quickly. The feds raided Michael Vick's compound...and 77 days later they had his signature on a plea agreement.

There is no way SACS would pull the accreditation of a major research university without providing them the opportunity to fix the problem first.
Having said that, it is astounding that the board member (Lowder) who got the U on probation would still be on that board today.

You misinterpreted my post. I was not intimating the W&L was Chette Williams, but rather that Chette Williams was the fellow pastor that W&L is pissed about.

No, but it doesn't help that Auburn just recently got off of probation with SACS.

I could see SACS putting them on double secret probation. Pulling their accrediation would needlessly hurt many totally innocent students.

funny enough, i googled to find out... the only site that was helpful was Auburn's FAQ from the last time they were in deep trouble with SACS

They would need to put in a condition that Lowder has to go. He was the one who got them on probation in the first place, yet he's still around.

Yep, the FBI actually likes to move quickly. Intimidation is their biggest asset. They want to find a ton of incriminating info on you, throw it all at you at once, scare the shite out of you, and get you talking. They don't make the investigations public until they already have all the info they need to prosecute whoever they are after.
The FBI portion of this will happen very quickly.

Oh haha. He very well could be involved; he always is, but I was referring to Bishop Newton.
