Heres an interesting article. The guy probably had no idea what was going on. Lowder is still on the board of trustees... So is bob riley.

I think it was Tauzin who said, "Half of Louisiana is underwater; the other half is under indictment." We had three consecutive insurance commissioners sent to federal prison. We have a governor in prison.

I would not be surprised to see the Feds step in and take over Auburn just like they took over his banks.

I read through this thread and if Lowder has been scamming money from the university, I hope they hang him from Toomers Corner. I've always thought Lowder was a criminal anyways. That said, the only way this screws the football team is if they are paying multiple players large sums of money.

If it's true though, I just don't see how it would get Auburn kicked out of the SEC. The SEC is an athletic conference and this seems to be mostly an FBI legal matter regarding criminals running the university. After Auburn lynch mobs Lowder and his cronies and runs them out of town, the NCAA, SEC, and Auburn would eventually move on.

Also, after reading some posts from very reliable Auburn sources, this case has been going on for a long time and involves gambling, agents, pro and college sports, and maybe even some ties to organized crime. If Cam is somehow connected, he is just a blip on their radar. This is the major FBI investigation that has been rumored and it may affect multiple universities. All we know is that the FBI is working on something BIG, whether Auburn is tied to it or not.

I'm sure that this has been covered. I read about 13 of the previous pages, but the main Agent is going to jail this week.

this. I'm not saying Auburn is or isn't involved, i just know who I believe until proven otherwise, but to believe that a bunch of people here know stuff going on about an FBI investigation is pretty funny. They aren't real big on leaking info. This will all play itself out eventually and hopefully we aren't involved but at this point who really knows.
