They are trash, who cares. Bowers wiped it off like a man. So should you., but I hope he keeps it in his back pocket

If you watch the full play, Brock did indeed wreck that pussy and that's why the pussy was mad.

I was wondering what was going on in that situation.

This all makes perfect sense.

Absolutely indefensible to spit in someone’s face. That being said, there was no need for Bowers to keep blocking after the whistle. Obviously, it doesn’t excuse the UT player’s (alleged?) action, but when you are kicking someone’s butt, if you add insult to injury, you are probably going to elicit some kind of response.

Disclaimer: I think Bowers is one of the best players in the country and should be in the Heisman discussion, and I hate Tennessee unequivocally.

That’s Tennessee for you. They were clearly grabbing and twisting at his ankle all day too.

Watch again but this time turn up your volume and listen for the whistle. Brock did not continue blocking after the whistle.

Many other players had given up on the play because they could see the runner was down, but the play was behind Bowers and he doesn't know if the play is still going if there's a loose ball, he just keeps blocking until the actual whistle. Once the whistle blows, he stops. That's how Pearce ended up on top of Bowers and not the other way around.

Pearce is the one who continued after the whistle.

Bowers did a nice job of throwing dude off like a rag doll prior to whistle and don’t blame him. BB would take that pussy’s lunch money if he wanted to.

Did you not watch the video? He was ready to murder the guy, threw a punch at him, and our other tight end Oscar Delp pulled him back.

You can hear whistles after the players start to tussle (presumably to break them up), but the play was well over by that point. Bowers appears to keep blocking after everyone else has stopped playing (so everyone else assumed the play was over, either by a whistle we can’t hear or the fact that the back is down). Not a big deal, but I think he blocks him a tad too long. In no one justifies spitting, but probably unnecessary.

The play was behind Bowers, he didn't know the runner was down until the whistle. Blame refs for a late whistle I guess, but Brock did what every coach coaches their players to do, play through the whistle.
