The mentality shift week after week is incredible

Team 1: Every other team LSU played was overrated. LSU’s defense is soft and we will slow them down enough to beat them.
*insert really close score prediction to show how little confidence they have*
LSU: Runs through them and the other team never has the ball with the chance to lead.
Team 2: Team 1 was overrated, we’re about to show LSU how it’s really done
Team 1: No you aren’t. You just don’t understand
Every time we beat a team all of a sudden they don’t think we’re overrated anymore

The one exception is Auburn. They knew they were gonna need a bunch of breaks, but they actually did hold us to less than 30.

But did they hold us though? It was pretty obvious we stopped playing offense in the second half once we realized they couldn’t score.
It literally looked like we started trying to run the clock down the second we got the 2 score lead.
I have no problem saying Auburn defense played us the best all year though

Lol edited posts. My bad. What I meant was that even when we were running our offense Auburn did the best job at slowing down Burrow and co

It happened last year. It happened this year week 1 against Texas. It happened all year after that. It will continue next year!
Pay them no mind and just enjoy this season, man.

I will say Auburn had some success on defense because they could drop 8 and rush 3 and still get pressure. UGA tried that at the beginning but they don’t quite have the Dline that auburn has. And clearly blitzing Joe doesn’t always work out to well either. Very tough offense to stop and man it’s been fun to watch.
