Gotta love aggy saying they are so happy they don't have to travel to Austin, Waco, Fort Worth and Lubbock any longer.
You know, like the majority of the state of Texas. Those freaks have turned their backs on their fellow Texans and are suckling at the teat and cock of the old Confederacy. What a bunch of dunces.

Well Waco is shite
Lubbock is shite
Austin is nothing but traffic, tattoo shops and streets filled with piss/throw up.
So yeah we're glad.

Bull shite. SEC teams don't share their apparel contracts, they don't share their radio and other media contracts, and they don't share their individual foundation donations.
Don't forget that A&M voted for the unequal television revenue setup for the Big 12 (which has changed to share Tiers 1 and 2 equally), as did Nebraska.
Both those bitches left saying they were pissed about something they voted for. Duplicitous frauds, they are.
The truth doesn't matter, sip. Only the narrative. If everyone out there thinks you're slimeballs, that's good enough for our purposes.
In reality, anyone who has observed t.u.'s selfish behavior in the course of destroying two successive athletic conferences knows that t.u. is a terrible business partner that everyone should avoid if they possibly can. Hence every program that could find a viable alternative has left the BDF for greener pastures. But knowing that you think this is an unfair characterization, and also knowing that it's what pretty much everyone believes... is actually a lot more satisfying to me than if you thought the criticism was fair.
In short, I thrive on your salty tears. Do please keep posting here as long as you like.

Being a larger piece of shite is still just a larger piece of shite. Norman is one of the premier college football venues in the nation and has been for decades. STFU aggots. You be-clown yourselves every time you post.
College station population 106,710
Norman, Ok population 118,040
Aggots wrong again.

I liked my visit to Norman in 2002. But don't toot your own horn. It's not that amazing.

You have a 80k seat stadium you can't even afford to renovate.
Your academics would be in the bottom 1/3 of the conference.

How did Texas destroy the Southwest Conference?
Arkansas got the ball rolling on that one.
The Big 12 is alive and well, even though aggots wrote its obit five years ago.

Why are you laughing? Even your fellow aggots admit that everyone is locked in because of the grant of rights.
Oklahoma is just trying to destroy the Longhorn Network, that's all their saber-rattling is about.

You know what? You're absolutely right. The BDF is perfect the way it is. I wouldn't change a thing.

Mizz should bow out and join the big10. They've hurt the secs brand with their BS. Add OU, Kansas and Okie ST. Move Auburn and Bama to the east.

why did Arkansas leave the SWC?
Because they knew that the Southwest Conference couldn't survive while the top teams subsidized Rice, TCU, SMU and Baylor.
Even your vaunted SEC will likely find itself culled, with the Alabamas and LSUs telling the Vanderbilts, Missouris, and Mississippi schools to hump a stump.
All you hangers-on, like aggy, enjoy it while it lasts. The next round of realignment will further separate the producers from the nonproducers.

Now, I await your version of why Arkansas left the Southwest Conference. I'm sure it will be total BS.
Posted on 5/30/16 at 10:54 pm to texag7
OU has roughly as many TV sets as the Miss schools, TN, Arkansas and Alabama. A top 4 football revenue in the SEC as well

Well? No.
The conference is headed into arguably its biggest meeting ever next week, and three of the 10 university presidents attending have "interim" in their titles.
I read this yesterday.
It's a pretty harsh reality:
quote:
Big 12 leaders are resigned to being behind the Southeastern Conference and Big Ten — those leagues have inherent advantages the Big 12 just can’t overcome — but would like to at least stay within binocular sight of those growing payouts.
The simplest way to do that is to add more content, but this is an endlessly complicated process.
Oklahoma was not the only school to push for Louisville to join the Big 12 along with West Virginia four years ago. That was a significant miss, one that many inside the league now regret. Part of the hesitation to expand is that no realistic option exists now that would be as valuable as Louisville would’ve been back then.
SEC schools are bound by obscene amounts of cash, and the other Power 5 leagues are held tightly together by contract language that is apparently ironclad. That means the Big 12 would be dipping into leagues like the Big East, American Athletic, or Mountain West.

TN alone has roughly 2x the population of Oklahoma.
