It feels great to be viewed as the villain as an LSU fan. Kiffin would have been on Gameday but he was able to help get our DC to stay and had to finalize the contract. I know there will always be those that will trash him and I get it but you don't understand how good LSU fans feel right now bc Kiffin has done more in 1 week that Brian Kelly did in 4 years. A motivated and enthused LSU is bad news for the rest of college football. This is different

And had he gone, then Baker left for Tulane... then their narrative would have been about the interview and game day being more important than keeping Baker.

That LK is still the same crazy arse coach that was clearly in way over his head at his biggest stops. Raiders and USC. He has been fine at OM and as OC at Bama cause the spotlight isn’t that huge. The scrutiny at LSU and the way it all went down is gonna follow him for the next 12 months. Not being able to show for the most watched nationally televised pregame show and face the music is telling.

That’s right! he was busy securing the signature of the top player in the country and the top defensive coordinator in the country. Shouldn’t you guys actually, you know, be talking about your playoff games instead of talking about LSU/Kiffin incessantly? It’s time to move on guys. Its what’s best for your mental health.

This is a false narrative. Be honest, as a fan, has anyone one here ever had the thought, "Oh no, "insert school name here" might win a national championship next year"? I haven't. Personally I just worry about what my team can do to win it.
