But Georgia just doesn't strike fear into the hearts of anyone. They aren't the cold-blooded killers of those Saban/Bama teams that were loaded to the gills

You should ask these guys and your offensive line

Let's be honest. They sure struck a little fear in Ewers.

The Texas Longhorns football team would love another crack at Georgia. Hopefully they get it.

SEC fans won't agree.
But it wasn't a good position for Texas to have to play Georgia right after the game in Dallas. Too much celebrating the Golden Hat for the winner of that game.
Even though Texas won in Dallas in a walk... sometimes teams (Texas/OU) aren't ready to play the next week. Texas looked like they weren't dialed in during that first half against Georgia.

Bottom line. I would have taken 6-1 to start the season 100% of the time before the season started. We are exactly where I hoped we would be, and now we know exactly what we need to work on. Unfortunately, I don't know if it is completely fixable this year without a full blown QB controversy.. but that is why they pay Sark the big bucks..

No body was beating us that night and we played bad on o. Think we could beat them worse next time.

If you're so smart, tell me something, how come you go to A&M for 8 years to become a cable repairman?

Texas would do better to be worrying about their team. After that beating Georgia gave them no one is afraid of Texas. Not that anyone other than the bottom feeders ever were.

Offensively, no one is scared of Georgia. When they have all their healthy guys on Defense they may very well be the best unit in college football.

Georgia has injuries to key offensive players. Ratledge is probably back for UF and maybe one or both of the RBs. Texas was lucky they were out and that Beck was having a bad day. If not that score would have been a lot worse for the horns.
Horns down,

What I learned from the scholars from Georgia and aTm today on tRant:
Lose by 15 to Georgia who played the best defense they will play all year while simultanously Texas could not have played worse offensively:
That's a complete annihilation and blowout and embarrassing loss that is season ending.
Beat MSU by 23 points or whatever it was-- that's not a blow out and we suck because we didn't win by 35.
