Shocking how the two programs have changed since that era. It’s fun to see both of us playing good football and I really hope Leach and Kiffin stick around so that continues. The attention they bring through their antics is fun too.

It's actually been nice lately. Each coach respects the other and it feels like the fanbases have somewhat embraced it too.

MS/AL/LA is the majority of their roster.

You say it like that's a bad thing. WTF?

I think more than half of our recruits in '21 were from outside of that footprint or it seems like it. It wouldn't surprise me if it was more than ole miss.

quicksilver can verify this though.

This sounds like something Steven Godfrey would make a huge youtube video about.

Kiffin and Leach in the same state is so much fun. Mississippi's in-state rivalry is so underrated.

For years, Ole Miss recruited more outside of the AL/MS/LA footprint than they did inside of it. I feel like State was the opposite though. State always signed a ton of kids from Mississippi. Now, it seems we are signing a lot of in-state kids too.

Ole Miss signees from AL/MS/LA from 2019 - 2021
2021 - 10/23 HS commitments
2020 - 10/20 HS commitments
2019 - 18/27 HS commitments

Compare that to the final three Freeze classes:
2017 - 7/18 HS commitments
2016 - 7/24 HS commitments
2015 - 3/19 HS commitments

Ole Piss fans in here are too young to remember the snitching they did in the 90s/early 2000s.

To be fair, I never knew about Doug Buckles getting immunity to snitch until very recently.
I think he's also the guy who caused Eli to trip in that game against LSU.

People talk about Freeze but Matt Luke was worse. He hated Mississippi State and his players played dirty.

I will always believe he put a bounty on Fitz that year they broke his leg.

The sad thing is, I believe you believe that we placed a bounty on your QB. A defense that was absolutely horrible and had absolutely no tackling skills whatsoever all of a sudden had the ability to break a guys ankle on purpose.

Let's see. It says here in these official NCAA documents that an Ole Miss booster, very specifically a lawyer from the Jackson area, paid Leo Lewis. And it was more than 60k. It says nothing here about Mullen paying him. It says nothing here about Mullen getting, or even needing, some BS immunity.

Yancy has been promising to show us those videos for years.....right up until he got canned for being a lying POS. And don't even get me started on Rags. And yet you're here spewing this BS. Wait, are you Yancy?

It just seems strange to me, after all this time, that so many of you Ole Miss fans can't take the L over the NCAA mess. Y'all still think Ole Miss got probation for letting a recruit sleep on brother Kiffin's couch and Freeze was only calling escorts for his own edification. And the best excuse: that MSU and Dan Mullen were the evil geniuses at work in collusion with the NCAA to bring you down. Maybe you should write a screenplay...it sounds like a good movie plot. You can call it Blind Side 2: Even More Absurdly False Than The Original Blind Side.

I wonder how many of this year's games y'all will end up vacating? Circle of life 'n shite...

You also realize it was an issue that State identified, State self-reported, and State self-penalized? You also realize it had nothing to do with recruiting shenanigans and paying players, correct?

Other than that, yeah, I guess it's the same thing. Good burn.

I'll give you a million dollars for every post I've ever made on EliteDawgs, bro. Wait, bro? Is that still a thing?

Games were vacated for cheating. That's a fact. You wanting to count them still but blame Ole Miss won't change anything.

Conspiracy theories? Everything written here can be found verbatim on the NCAA's website, written on paperwork with their letterhead. Those aren't called conspiracy theories. Those are called facts. I realize that facts mean nothing to idiots, but that doesn't change the facts.

Talk of videos, baseless and absurd accusations, and general deflection usually involve conspiracy theories and y'all do a pretty good job of spinning that narrative, just like the democrats y'all are.

Yes, a fact. 8 football players cheated on a test. State caught it, self reported it, and self sanctioned, which included vacating the handful of games that those players played in after taking the test. It was an overreach by State's internal compliance guy, IMO, because that shite has been going on as long as there has been colleges and tests. If you're really comparing that to what Ole Miss did, more power to you. But you and I both know that it's silly.
