Trindon Holliday 10.00 LSU***
Jeff Demps 10.01 Florida
Herschel Walker 10.23 Georgia
Bo Jackson 10.39 Auburn.....he was more 10.2low like Walker
Derrick Henry is fast for a 245 pounder but in with fast guys no not really.
Billy Cannon ran a 9.5 100 yards way back when he'd smoke Derrick Henry.
*** why he wasn't used more, he's faster than Tyreek Hill.

You’re gonna be a #1 seed for sure

Track speed is cool. Speed with pads on a football field with other players is more important though.

Remember him more as a WR and return guy. Not a RB.

Billy Cannon ran the 100 yard dash, so you have to gross that up to compare to the 100 meters times. It equates to about 10.3 seconds.
That is still smoking fast but not as unearthly a 9.5

LOL
ETA: I actually didn't notice you said yards, not meters. So I guess that time is possible. Maybe.

because he is/was 5'5" 160 pounds soaking wet and couldn't catch

he didn't have a real position, but he lined up at RB way more than WR. He only had 7 career catches in college and 115 carries.

He wasn't a RB. He was a WR under Les Miles run heavy offense, and he returned kickoffs and punts. He was 5'5 165-170 lbs

Never would have guessed that. Really just remember him returning kicks. Was electric.

Remember when ol Lester hid that man behind the line against South Carolina or someone?

Obviously this was in the 50s without laser timing but he set the state high school record for the 100 yd dash at 9.7 seconds and then ran a 9.4 100 yd dash while in college. He also set the state record in high school for the shot put and also threw shot put in college as well. Regardless of the accuracy of the times back then and how well those times stand up today, he was lighting fast for his era

Well, that's what his value really was (and why his NFL career was short-lived). He had almost as many returns in his career (116) as touches on offense (122).

That would be about a 10.47 100M, and Henry's best time (I think) was 11.11.

Bo Jackson 100 meter time is from junior year high school. Had he trained in track in college or professionally then you are looking at olympic final type speed
