To be fair it's four. They've been claiming they won it all in the five others for years now, inlcuding the one where they were on probation.

It’s absolutely no different than a good number of Bamas “championships.”
Alabama championships that are exactly the same
1925 Bama, Michigan, and Dartmouth all were recognized as championships for this year.
1926 Bama, Michigan, Navy, Stanford, and Lafayette all were recognized as champions this year
1930 Bama and Notre Dame both went undefeated and were recognized as champions this year
1934 Bama and Minnesota both went undefeated and were recognized as champions this year
1941 Bama, Minnesota, and Texas all were recognized as champions. Minnesota went undefeated. Texas went 8-1-1, and bama goes 9-2
1945 Bama, Army, and Oklahoma A&M (now known as Oklahoma State) all were recognized as champions
1961 Bama and Ohio State both were recognized as champions
1962 Bama, LSU, Ole Miss, USC all were recognized as champions. Ole Miss and USC going undefeated.
1964 Bama, Arkansas, Michigan, and Notre Dame all were recognized as champions. Arkansas going undefeated
1965 Bama and Michigan State both were recognized as champions
1966 Bama, Michigan State, and Notre Dame all were recognized as champions
1973, Bama, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Oklahoma were all recognized as champions. All but Bama going undefeated
1975 Bama, Arizona State, Ohio State, and Oklahoma were all recognized as champions. ASU going undefeated
1977 Bama, Arkansas, Notre Dame, Texas were all recognized as champions.
1978 Bama, Oklahoma, USC were all recognized as champions
1979 Bama and USC were both recognized as champions
Each of those seasons Bama claims as national champions. Even though some are extremely questionable.
That being said I don’t agree with it. I think we should only recognize 2. But no Auburn fan I’ve ever met has claimed 1993 (the probation year.) 1983 we were shafted and deserved to be champions but as we weren’t named champions I don’t think we should. And for the ones in the early 1900s, researching this post tells me one this above all else. Lots of those teams from back then are completely irrelevant to today’s sport. The championships from back then should be just as irrelevant

A lot of analysts are really loving Oklahoma, and some of the best are really high on Florida despite their brutal schedule, and Auburn used to always be good when they were supposed to suck. Or maybe you have Moo U or Ky.
UF. They improved over the season last year. They’re gonna be a tough team to play.
As for OU, too much unknowns with the PAC 2 offense. Defense will do their part. Just not sure on offense and Venables hasn’t even really improved his in-game management.

OU could be interesting with Mateer and Auburn has a lot of talent on paper but I'm not sold that Freeze has "IT" anymore.

Lol..we will go nowhere near the SEC title game with our brutal schedule and terrible head coach, 9-4 at best. Most likely 8-5.

Oklahoma. Mateer is a gamer.
Florida isn't a dark horse as long as Lagway is healthy.

OU will be lucky to win 8 in the regular season. But 8 would be massive improvement for Venables.

With no insult intended to the Bama, who had a great year, '45 Army would have obliterated the Tide. This was not a modern day military academy with the "we will run the triple option and outsmart you" team. This was a juggernaut of destruction. Their last three games were a 48-0 stomping of #2 Notre Dame, a 61-0 molestation of #6 Penn, followed by a 32-13 beat down of #2 Navy.
Army went undefeated for three years straight. You did not want smoke with Army during WWII.

Our schedule is beyond hard...doubt any team gets out of it without at least 2 losses mini..Spurrier really pis$ed some people off when they were children obviously.

Agree...we will never be great with Napier as HC..he is terrible(look at his record verse ranked teams 2-12)...that can't be argued at all.

Your last football conference (co-conference) championship was 56 years ago
