Never seen so many gumps this passionate about basketball.

Saban leaving them was rough. We are witnessing history.

Bama is transitioning from a football powerhouse in hopes of being the new Kentucky of our league.

It's fascinating to watch.

The cracks first started to show after Heupel and Hyatt raced past Saban in Knoxville in 2022. Then LSU with a first year head coach also got them as well.

In summary: Heupel and the Nil broke Saban.

I'm not saying it's all Heupel....but the cracks really started to show after that win over them.

It's appropriate because fat Phil broke their asses as well.

Largely proportioned head coaches at Tennessee= a gump's worst nightmare.

Every powerhouse must eventually go through years of obscurity as well. It's Bama 's turn now.

Oh how i am going to enjoy these next few years.

It's going to be hilarious watching your new defense get caught in busted play after busted play next season against Nico and our track star wipeouts right after you get gashed on the ground by Sampson and company a few times that is.

Tell me you’re a bandwagon fan without actually telling me?

The 14 years prior to Saban, Bama was 2-12 against the Vols. It wasn’t till Saban come along when Bama pulled away in the head to head series. What will these next 14 years look like?

This is the kind of five alarm take I’m here for. Bama fans, this man is solely responsible for your run to Final Four glory…

Build the statue.

decade to decade, history says Bama will be relevant at some point every decade.

Always a powerhouse?

you were not a powerhouse from 1983 to 2007

The coach who won a national title, only won one SEC title and was probably only the third best coach in the conference during most of his tenure.

Curry and Dubose only won an SEC title, but no one would say they coached a powerhouse.

You’re counting vacated games in those totals.

And also neglecting the fact that in the immediate 24 prior seasons from 1971-1994, Tennessee only beat Alabama four times.

2-11, does that sound better? Point is Bama only beat the Vols 2 times in the 14 years prior to Saban. Now yall have hired a coached that tried to cover up rape charges just to keep his player eligible for the CFP because his starter was banged up. Y’all hired a fricking loser of a head coach that has no respect for females.

And in the other 50 years going back to 1960 you can add a total of like 8 more wins.

So basically, the reality is, Tennessee was the one that was good for a short stretch of time, not Alabama.

Some of us have been around long enough to know the truth.

Wrong again! Prior to Nick Saban showing up, Bama only had a 4 game advantage over Tennessee in school history. Would not call that dominating anything. Also Tennessee has also beat Bama more times than any other SEC school in history. That’s the truth!

You mean if you don't count the past 17 years?

You were down like 16 before the Great Pumpkin. So again...only a stretch.
