Finally to where I can sit down and watch the game. Ready to get up and leave if things start going south.

was expecting a 6-5 game in the 5th
I've asked this on the rant all day, but why?
What about these two teams in this CWS would lead you to believe that was a good expectation?
None of their games have been high scoring

Wind blowing out. Both teams running out their Sunday pitching staffs today
No one should have reasonably expected a 1-0 score through 6

We can’t ever capitalize. Ever

Kozeal swinging at a pitch over his head…

Stole second and got third on a wild pitch, but of course both of those came at two outs and two strikes.

Leave cheese in or take him out before he faces 16 again?

Maybe leave him in til they get in scoring position. Then go coil

LSU can’t hit him. I’d leave him in until they prove otherwise

No plate discipline for most of these players

DVH said at the beginning of the tournament that the team that drives in runs with two outs will win

This field negates the typical homeruns and turns it into long puts, I don't care what direction the wind is blowing

I don't think its too far-fetched to guess that Arkansas' Sunday guy vs an LSU pitcher that has not had a particularly strong May could have the makings of a 6-5 game in the 6th.
I don't think anyone could say this game would be 1-0 right now given those circumstances

I mean yeah. That’s typically how teams win games in Omaha

Given we have to win this one plus 3 more you leave him in
Posted on 6/18/25 at 7:54 pm to lsufball19
