The Curse of Logan Young

The Vols have been in a downward spiral since Phat Phil tried (unsuccessfully) to put "Bama and Logan Young out of business". Now that PP is the AD the curse is coming full force. Want to end the curse you must exorcise Phat Phil.

bama booster in Memphis who bragged about buying cruits. UT boosters in conjunction with UT admin went on a mission to bring bama's buying of players to light (e.g. Albert Means) to the NCAA. Lots of back door conversations and deals going on.
Logan ended up dead (allegedly fell up the stairs and cut his throat on a salad bowl, but we all know the REC took care of him).

They were cheating, phil told on them, sime old guy fell upstairs and died, alabama would root for the taliban vs tennessee. Pretty much sum it up?

But isn't Bama the ones who put Logan Young out of business when y'all had him murdered right before he was supposed to testify in a federal trial?

Just for clarification...both Bama AND Tenn were busted for cheating.
However, Phil had a good relationship with someone in the NCAA and turned state’s witness against Bama in return for the NCAA ignoring that UTn had also made a bid for the player in Memphis AND that Tee Martin (Vols QB) had accepted money from a Vols booster out of Mobile.

He axadently stumbled right past the phone in the hallway while leaving a trail of blood throughout his house before bleeding out on his bedroom floor

Not bad but you left out the part where his one time friend Tenn Stud was doing the same thing for the Vols.
It was towards the end of the Wild West days of recruiting. Not quite pony express days but still lots going on. As far as who helped him fall up the stairs, Bama’s case was over. Young had been disassociated. He was no longer a threat to us. On the other hand, only a year or so earlier an attorney suing the NCAA for some Bama people was attacked in his Memphis office and documents were stolen then Young falls up the stairs. If you wanted to build a list of likely suspects, the best place to start would probably be located a few hundred miles due east of Memphis.
