Doesn't mean Bama sold out to stop run by stacking the box. I'd bet 50% of all plays the dline runs some sort of a "stunt"

I honestly think I even could. The holes were there. Just gotta find em.

Then again I'm a really good athlete.

Honestly we weren't selling out the run or the pass. The truth is the team is just that fricking good.

Here at Alabama... We live it.

Me too, he ran into a bunch of tackles and wasn't fast enough to outrun our dline and couldn't juke the lbs or DBs. An exceptional back would be able to make some better gains. DH would have got close to 100 on those carries but he's not a quitter nor a big pussy.

They didn't sell out by stacking the box. They sold out by stunting the line and at least one linebacker every down. Saban always has extremely good run blitz packages and uses the hell out of them until he's forced to do otherwise.

It depends on your scheme. Cams scheme is about deep and seams routes.

It's not luck if you consistently do it.
Harris is , at least, top 3 deep ball thrower in the sec.

They do that against everybody. Saban likes to take the run away and make an offense one dimensional. The problem with LSU is that is the only dimension they have.

Right.

The gumps saying Bama shut down Fournette without selling out to stop the run are delusional and know nothing about football.

Safeties and corners contributed for tackles for loss. Bama jumped all over the snap count all night. 13 of 19 carries Fournette was met by at least 2 defenders at or behind the line of scrimmage. That is the most telling stat. Bama fans are tearing down LF instead of acknowledging their great performance.

chunk it up and hope the WR makes a play isn't much of a scheme. That's mostly been the succesful plays this year for L5u.

AJ as in Jennings. version 2015, never would anyone confuse Harris with McCarron. Harris is Not even close to being in his league of a QB.

Except literally every website has said they didn't have to and provided examples of why they didn't have to.

They defended the run, but they didn't leave two cornerbacks on islands and put the safeties up. They left their safeties back. Hell, the one time they didn't and they ran a CB blitz, Harris threw for a TD.

They just outschemed LSU, but it doesn't mean they sold out.

Also, I love how I told EVERYONE that Harris couldn't throw the short routes and he gets all his yards off deep routes and it would matter extremely in this game, and all the LSU fans laughed at me. Told me Harris would throw for more than Coker. Told me that he would get the time he needed in the pocket to make his deep throws. It was complete blind optimism.
