im predicting an lsu vs wake forest elimination game 2023 type game . 0-0 going into the bottom of the 10th inning.

Anderson vs root will be like skenes vs dollander, I think that's his name...I always get him confused with that pitcher we beat for Tennessee that year

that big part is a great place for Anderson game, he usually gives up a solo or 2 run Homer and that's about it. the ball doesn't really fly out of that park . it did in that 2023 final against Florida but up until then they were hard to come by

Good luck to the 2 SEC teams.

31years ago we won it all. Its a hard one to win as so many moving parts and need pitchers healthy at right time along with fielding and bats.

I’d go second. March madness first weekend is the best weekend in sports. Games from noon-1am for 4 straight days

ETA: winner of lsu/arky gonna win it all.

This is something that I always preach to people complaining about baseball before May. You never know what the hell is going to happen throughout the season. There's so much that is going to change over 50+ games.

Anderson vs root

Why not start Eyanson on Saturday? Last time he faced Arkansas he pitched 6 innings, gave up 5 hits, 0 runs, 11 Ks, and 1 BB.

Lets not do that. I would much rather face Anderson.

He was definitely more successful against the Hog's lineup than Anderson was. I think it's a gamble either way, for either team, regarding which pitcher to start. For us, Root has been our most dependable starting arm and really didn't do bad against the Tigers but Wood was out when we faced LSU and has been pretty solid since his return (no doubt we start Root). In y'alls case, Eyanson was the more successful of your starters, last go around, but that doesn't necessarily mean he would be this time. I don't envy the decisions these coaches have to make sometimes because it's often just an educated gamble based on previous performances, stats, and matchups. A good example is us against Doyle. Like him or not, he's a good pitcher and I'm sure in the back of TV's mind he never thought we'd get the better of him a second time around.

eyanson has been putting in a lot of work and it would put him out there with less rest than anderson

How did Oklahoma ever win a CWS back in the day without OU Gay and his inspiring Twatter posts?
