Beautiful Sewell Thomas Stadium. Paying homage to historical Rickwood Field in Birmingham with the architecture.

Foley Field does not belong. It’s a glorified softball stadium until the athletic department actually begins to give a shite about baseball again

I've never been there, but it looks okay in pics and on tv. Hopefully Florida & Kentucky's new stadiums will inspire UGA & UT to make some improvements.

Yeah, they rebuilt in 2016 (played in Hoover) and the new/re-built park opened last year

We get it, you're disappointed that our shithole stadium in the North is home to a team that has won the CWS. Is this a pre-melt before the series this weekend?

Vandy and UF aren't much better. Renderings should not count.

Mitch Gaspard got one season in the new park in 2016. Gregg Goff got his abomination of a season in 2017. Brad Bohannon is in year one and building a legit program in 2018.

Third year in the new Sewell Thomas.

I don't see anything special about any of them. They all look like 3rd rate single A minor league stadiums. In basketball and football, the better college teams have facilities that are on par with professional stadiums. College baseball has nothing like this, even at top 5 programs. The fan interest simply isn't there. It is not a top tier sport.

The recent renovations are nice but the entire park sorely needs some innovation and an expansion of some sort down the lines (if not seats, put in patio areas or something other than exposed lawn equipment and black chainlink fencing).

The stadium is in a unique location on campus and could really be turned into a college version of Wrigley/Fenway if someone actually approached the project with some vision and ingenuity. It's just a lot of wasted opportunity and space at this point.

Who is saying it is?

If you don’t see what’s special about SEC baseball stadiums, look at other conferences baseball stadiums.
