He announced early week or end of last week (can’t remember exactly and don’t care to look it up for you) that he was not returning.

Coming soon to a starting NFL QB role near you.

He's already declared for the NFL draft. He has also shown a fairly steady improvement over the course of his college career.

This is a weird sort of troll. Is this a sex thing? Are you upset the Alpaca turned you down?

I have to tip my hat to Felipe, he set the Hogs' single season record for completion percentage. Didn't see that one coming. He worked hard and never gave up. Salute

The drawback to Franks was he was the wrong QB to be the triggerman for the Briles offense. You need a certain type of QB for that and Franks was not well suited to it.

That having been said he busted his butt here at Arkansas and really helped to turn the team around. Given a better O-line and a healthier WR corps he could have done even more.

I think he has the talent to land a spot as a backup in the NFL, which sounds like an insult, but consider how many college QBs don't even get a sniff at the NFL. If nothing else the guy throws a very pretty deep ball.

Not only this, but he just did everything right. Was a great leader, was awesome with the media, and was just well-liked by everyone. He may not have been the perfect fit for the offense, but he was perfect fit for this team, at this time. He provided exactly what we needed, steady, mature leadership.

Huh? That guy is pretty good. Looked like Aub had his number halfway through the game and then he turned a corner and played lights out.

If Kyle Allen can start games in the NFL, so can Felipe Franks. The bar isn't as high as you might imagine if you've got the body type that they like.

Right. His on the field and off the field leadership made a huge difference.
