I was watching the game on a 65" tv in my living room, and I missed the facemask until the slow-mo replay. Blatant?
Then you are blind as a MF bat. It was clear as day on my TV during the play.

So you were able to see him grab the facemask despite the fact that the ball carrier was facing AWAY from the camera on the live broadcast?
I was...10 times out of 10 when a players entire head suddenly whips to the side...it's a face mask. I did not have to see the hand to know that the only way for his head to make that kind of a move would be if his face mask was grabbed. I know that's probably like rocket science to you but its fact.

So you didn't see it? You only know it happened because the way his head moved? See...the ref saw what you saw but if he doesn't see a hand on the facemask, he can't throw a flag. By the time Chubb's face turned back around to face the referee, the hand was gone from the facemask.

Exactly...I coach football and watch it religiously..this is the first time I've seen it not called when it was so obvious..official facing the face mask or not... it was a penalty and you know damn good and well you'd be pissed if it was the other way around.

But that's not exactly what happened.

Are you sure you watched the play Coach? His head went downward, not whipped to the side.

Honestly, why are you so disturbed by actions in a game that your team didn't even participate in?....seriously, you seem really upset...why?
Posted on 1/10/18 at 9:24 am to coachcrisp
Because 7SU fans miss Saban.

So provocative. You do realize that joke doesn’t work when it’s made by someone from Louisiana or from the South in general, don’t you?

Is there a class in the Louisiana public school system that teaches kids how to cry about the refs? Or is it just bred in to you? I'm guessing it's bred in to you from all of the French blood down there

Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't realize that just because I didn't have a team in the game I can't watch the game and expect it not to be butchered by referees.

I still don't understand whats bad about wanting to watch a game that the referees don't screw up so badly.
See the difference in you and me bammer is that if this were flip flopped and it was Alabama that got fricked by the refs...I would still be stating my case about horrible officiating...AS WOULD YOU...but no, since Alabama won, lets throw rules out of the window and call a pig a horse because frick we won and if anyone says otherwise they are whiny bitches. GTFOH with that horse shite. Even if LSU had won like that, I'd be mad about the shitty refs giving the other team something to talk about.

You miss the point. The refs didn't call false start on Bama because they didn't see the player move. Instead, they called a phantom off-sides on Georgia because they thought the guy that blocked the punt left early. He didn't. If they hadn't have blown that call, the punt block would have stood....because they didn't see or call the false start. (Yes, at that point Bama fans would be complaining that the refs didn't call a penalty on their own guy.) So yes, the phantom offsides call DID screw Georgia....

But they still would have blown the call, even if they missed it.

I know, most bama fans laugh at logic because they don't understand it.
