Like everyone isnt going to pick their guy.
I shouldnt expect much from a state that sided with England in the war for independence.

Lonnie, don't share our dirty laundry. Todd has babbled some word salads on play by play that had us all scratching our heads, Also, he sounds like a drunk uncle describing the game.

Todd's talents don't just exist inside the Bob Fulton Press Box at W-B -

Guys in the 60’s and 70’s far superior to these new darlings.

I don't really listen to radio anymore. Gene Deckerhoff (FSU/TB Bucs) is the best I have ever listened to. Football and bball seem effortless for him.

we had "The Voice" - as he was known...Bob Fulton - who for decades reached Gamecock fans every Saturday in the Fall - Winter for hoops - and brought Gamecock Baseball to the air waves for USC in the early 70s - with Bobby Richardson's return home to coach SC after retiring from MLB and the Yankees -
"CAR~O~LINAAAAA"

we still have our 1969 ACC Champ QB doing color commentary - who surpassed Fulton for years behind the microphone of Gamecock football and will be calling his 52nd consecutive season of Carolina games -Tommy Suggs -

Bob had a little chuckle that would sneak in at the end of a good play for SC. I loved that.

Todd Ellis played quarterback for the Gamecocks under Joe Morrison and later Sparky Woods after Morrison died unexpectedly. He is the school’s all time leading passer and winningest quarterback, and was taken in the ninth round of the 1990 Draft but never played one snap in the NFL .
I know he missed some games due to injury, but I have a hard time believing Connor Shaw is not the winningest QB in Gamecock history.

Still hate that we lost Rod so young. Andy Burnham is only serviceable.
Andy handicapped somewhat at home games by the worst location possible for watching a game. Watch the Youtube feed while he's calling a game. Has no idea what's happening on the far side of the field unless he's watching a monitor.

Connor Shaw was 27-5 at SC. Todd Ellis only won 24 games.

I can't stand SC's radio announcer, he's like the Alex Jones of cfb broadcasting. Every first down he screams like you just won the championship on a hail mary.

Eli was okay. Back in the day. But my guy was Rod. AU games were AWESOME to listen to. Man still cant believe hes gone.

Yup...Went from Larry Munson to Scott...SMDH...
Enthusiastic but his screeching after a big play puts my old heart into Afib and not in a good way.
Now I turn down the UGA radio network to listen to over the air brodcast...
Hell give me Tony Schiavone over Scott
It's the hip thing now to hate Scott Howard, but he had to follow Larry Munson. Go listen to some of the other cfb radio broadcasters for other teams, then go listen to Scott Howard, he's actually pretty damn good.
As for his radio enthusiasm, I'll tell you the same thing. Go listen to these other broadcasts where they act like they won the national championship after a 1st quarter 3rd and 8 conversion, Scott is rather tame.
