Combined record of the FBS opponents:
Arkansas: 38-43 (.469) (worst in SEC)
OU: 51-36 (.586)
And the Arkansas record is NOT taking into account the 1-9 Missouri State record. So when adding that into the equation:
Arkansas: 39-52 (.428)
If you take away the loss to Alabama, and focus on combined records of those teams Arkansas has beaten this season:
Arkansas: 30-51 (.370)
So now can you see why the BCS "hates" Arkansas?

We beat Bama in their kitchen, If the hogs beat us at our place, they will get the trip to Atlanta.

This tends to happen when you play no one. What is Arkys best win? Auburn
Even if you beat LSU, you will get screwed by the computers due to your lack of schedule.

seeing as OU has played a better schedule, they should be ahead of Arkansas.

The BCS computers basically rank teams using the strength of schedule, wins, then losses. Strength of schedule is most important, hence why Auburn is ranked ahead of Georgia in one computer, and why Auburn is ranked at all. Wins are the next most important thing. The computers are more interested in rewarding you for wins than they are punishing you for losses. That is why the computers will put Oklahoma over Arky every time, because the computers forgive the loss to a terrible Texas Tech team because OU would have considerably better wins than Arky.

Probably not though. Do they deserve it? I can see that since they had to go on the road at Bama and LSU, but they will probably not get in.

because schedules are not just 1 game. OU has more good wins than Arky.

I doubt it. for that to happen, either Bama will have to lose to Auburn or LSU and Arky will have to be ahead of Bama in the BCS standings which is also unlikely. If Arky beats us they will most likely be like Texas in 2008 watching us play for the conference and national titles, while they enjoy the Cap One Bowl

I agree 100%. How can LSU fans complain about the BCS when we plaed by the rules as they are stated and won two NCs? Not perfect, but I don't complain.

So, they both beat the same Texas A&M team, but Arkansas gets credit for beating a ranked team and OU doesn't?

You're forcing a rationalization for ranking OU higher
God forbid anyone should do something like that. Clearly, the 5-5 Texas A&M team that lost to Arkansas on October 1st is much better than the 5-5 Texas A&M team that lost to Oklahoma on November 5th, right?
