I haven't checked this entire thread, but to have the same computer ranking (the JS) AU as 15 and UGA as 16, means this whole thing is retarded. I'd like for the guy who generates this program explain this to everyone.
Yeah, I know it really doesn't change the parts that count.

ya think?

Only two spots that matter are 1 and 2, and they won't mean shite until December. Don't worry about it.

It has nothing to do with Arkansas but everything to do with the BCS pollsters positioning OU to ensure there isn't a Bama or LSU rematch. Barring any unforeseen losses the national championship game will be either Bama/LSU vs. OU/OSU.

I'm not sure Arky is getting screwed, they have not played up to their ability most of the season and are just lacking the same quality of wins over opponents that you see in say OU
From ESPN:
Arkansas Razorbacks
Record: 9-1, 5-1 SEC
BCS ranking: 6
Combined record of defeated FBS opponents: 33-46
Wins over ranked teams (when Arkansas played them): 3
Wins over FBS teams with current. 500 or losing record: 6
Best victory: 44-28 over then-No. 9 South Carolina on Nov. 5
Only loss: 38-14 at Alabama on Sept. 24
Remaining games: vs. Mississippi State on Saturday; at LSU on Nov. 25
Oklahoma Sooners
Record: 8-1, 5-1 Big 12
BCS ranking: 5
Combined record of defeated FBS opponents: 46-31
Wins over ranked teams (when OU played them): 3
Wins over FBS teams with current .500 or losing record: 3
Best victory: 58-17 at then-No. 8 Kansas State on Oct. 29
Only loss: 41-38 to Texas Tech on Oct. 22

OU doesn't have to play @ Bama and @ LSU. If OU can lose to Tech at home, they would probably lose a few games in the SEC.

we kinda should be honest about the SEC this year... there are a few really good or outstanding teams and a bunch that are fresh meat (Ole Miss, MSU, KY, Vandy, Tenn, FLA, Auburn)
my bias is they (OU) would lose against LSU and Bama but beat Arky and the rest of the SEC
If OU beats Ok State they will have wins against Ok State, FSU, Texas, KSU, and Baylor... whereas Arky has beaten USC and that's pretty much it for quality
When you judge teams by their accomplishments I think you have to pick OU over Arky by a wide margin... even if say OU beats Ok State and Arky beats LSU (beating LSU at LSU would be a great win but on the balance of the season Arky has clearly beaten much worse opponents)

AYSM?
Texas Tech has lost its last three games to Iowa State, Texas, and OSU by a margin of 33-159.
Any team that loses to Tech on its home field does not deserve to be a top 5 team.
