I really think it's CapOne whether we finish 11-1 or 10-2. We would still have a shot at 11 or 12 wins either way, but having Petrino at the helm and being in the BCS conversation has really spoiled me.
We're sitting at #6 in the BCS and looking at up to 12 wins, and I'm honestly a little bummed out.

I feel ya man. To not make a BCS Bowl, which could happen even if we beat LSU, would really suck.
However, there's another way to look at it. We lost our star QB to the NFL, our star RB to injury, we were breaking in a new o-line, suffered several injuries to key players, and had to play @ two of the toughest teams and stadiums in America, and yet we will still end up with a 10+ win season. It's a good time to be a hog, even if we don't get our due this year. Eventually, we will start getting those top 5 preseason rankings and respect that we deserve. Petrino is quietly building a powerhouse that is going to run the new SEC.

If arkansas wins their bowl game they will have had an outstanding season whether or not they upset LSU
And a season that would say a lot about how good their coaching staff is at producing wins. Some Hog fan will take that as a backhanded compliment but it is not... it is a straight up compliment
For example, last year's LSU and Auburn teams also won more games than they probably should have (when you look at how they played down to certain opponents esp)... which in a way is a credit to those coaching staffs at getting close to the maximum production out of a team you can get in a given year
Petrino has done his best coaching job at Arkansas this year IMO. He has won every game he should have and lost none that he shouldn't

It's his first group of Seniors and they are almost all from Arkansas. We're now recruiting nationally much like Tenn. did during their prime years of late 90's/early 2000's. Petrino will win a SEC/Natty title in the next couple years

if their recruiting classes were better I would pick Petrino to win a NC within the next 5-7 years

No one is going to "run" the SEC.
Look for it to bounce around (the west at least) between primarily LSU and Bama with sides of Arky and AU on occasion.
Petrino is a great coach though. Great offensive mind for sure.

I am not sure that the BCS hates Arkansas, but I think I do.
Although it is hard to hate folks that live in little metal houses that have wheels on them and that attract tornados.
So I do not hate Arkansas...
But I do feel sorry for folks that wear pigs on their heads and cannot afford a decent cap.

You see what 8 home games gets you in the SEC?
No respect!
However, LSU will respect Arkansas in Tiger Stadium on November 25 when the tigers respectfully put a beatdown on the swine...good luck in the capital one bowl pigs!
