(For Bama fans that won't get it, I'm making fun of you taking Jim Hawthorne's opinion on whether the pass was complete on the sideline or not. Hawthorne has been know to be wrong on many occasions, most famously, his call that Jack Hunt caught the Bluegrass Miracle, which we all know Devery Henderson (who is a bit more tan that Jack Hunt) caught the pass)

Quit the flaming Gumptard. Coaching did not lose the game Saturday. Other than a few clock management issues, which had no bearing on the outcome of the game, it was a pretty well coached game on both sides.

Maybe if your quarterback wasn't so scared of being hit, you'd have gotten a more favorable spot. He backed up right before he was hit, instead of the typical "lowered shoulder" approach... especially that close to the chains. Personally, I thought the spot was about right.

You know damn well they wouldn't have overturned the call if the replay system was working. It's a "gentleman's" arrangement. They don't want to make each other look bad.

I thought I covered this earlier...
Your quarterback inexplicably tried to avoid contact with the defender by backpedaling before being hit. The spot was correct.
The problem was that your quarterback was scared of being hit, or he would have given the 1% more effort it took to move the chains.
