(For Bama fans that won't get it, I'm making fun of you taking Jim Hawthorne's opinion on whether the pass was complete on the sideline or not. Hawthorne has been know to be wrong on many occasions, most famously, his call that Jack Hunt caught the Bluegrass Miracle, which we all know Devery Henderson (who is a bit more tan that Jack Hunt) caught the pass)

Quit the flaming Gumptard. Coaching did not lose the game Saturday. Other than a few clock management issues, which had no bearing on the outcome of the game, it was a pretty well coached game on both sides.

I agree JJ has been playing like the female anatomy. What amuses me the most is that the heards seem to defend the guy like he is going to be something special, must believe this b/c CLM says he going to be special.

correcct Bryant. Smelley had possession before he went out of bounds and right after he hit the ground, Smelley flipped the ball. It would have been ruled a completion had the replay system been operating.

You know damn well they wouldn't have overturned the call if the replay system was working. It's a "gentleman's" arrangement. They don't want to make each other look bad.

blatantly missed the obvious completion from McElroy to Brad Smelley during Alabama's first drive of the game. The CBS replay confirmed it. The play was reviewed, only to find out that the booth had a "power glitch".


You're an idiot. Smelly got the ball knocked out of his hands before he went down.

If you want to be mad, be mad about something that actually happened.... like McElroy overthrowing Maze when he was 10 years behind his guy. Would have been a certain TD.

Do you really believe calling time outs (2) early in the game helped LSU out, conversely its effects were tramatic late in the game when we needed them most and please do not get me started on how many times all worh RS has hurt us lineing up in crucial moments of the game. Guy take the purple and gold glasses off. We lost to a better team.

Did you even watch the game? JJ stood tall and took some fricking shots. One of which knocked him out of the game.

Once again JJ heards run to the table to defend him. I really want to ask a serious question, do you belive our QB's are playing at the level needed to warrent success. I am not knocking JJ and backing Lee, get the point. Our horrible QB play is a resultant of coaching or lacking there of in regards to coaching. Its time to admitt we have problems at the helm and if we do not fix this we will most likely come up short in close physical games due to QB play.

I thought I covered this earlier...

Your quarterback inexplicably tried to avoid contact with the defender by backpedaling before being hit. The spot was correct.

The problem was that your quarterback was scared of being hit, or he would have given the 1% more effort it took to move the chains.
